The city has more than 40 different districts (barrio’s) all with their own culture and atmosphere. Furthermore you find a lot of colonial buildings, museums, theatre’s and shopping avenues. Buenos Aires, the city of tango, a city that never sleeps.
Highlights the historic city core, comprising Monserrat and San Telmo, Plaza de Mayo and the Cabildo, the Casa Rosada, the pink painted presidential palace from where Eva Peron used to speak to the public, Teatro Colón and Cervantes theatre.
Things to do relax in the Palermo Park in the middle of city district Palermo, the Sunday morning market on Plaza Dorrego in San Telmo, grab a bite in one of Recoleta’s famous restaurants. Experience the unique atmosphere in the old city quarter, La Boca, with it’s colourful houses.
Our school in Buenos Aires
Our Spanish school is located in San Cristóbal, very close to San Telmo (historic neighbourhood), downtown and the Congreso area. This neighbourhood has different styles of Hotels, Hostels and rooms in family houses, all them prepared for students. Our school has a warm atmosphere, with large comfortable classrooms and audio and video facilities, which teachers make use of in their lessons. We also offer free cafe, tea and biscuits, study materials, a culture and leisure program and assistance with accommodation.
The teachers

Our teachers have University degrees and post graduate studies in Spanish as a foreign language. Those who teach business Spanish are Economic graduates. They have a wide experience in teaching Spanish to students, tourists, executives and embassy officials and will motivate you to learn in a pleasant way.
The courses

You can choose from the following courses:
> Intensive 20 hours per week in a group: U$S 144 a week
> Intensive 20 hours per week in a group + 10 hours individual: U$S 254 a week
> Individual classes 20 hours per week: U$S 11 an hour
Group courses Spanish
Classes are being put up by students level of Spanish. This way you will always be in a class with students which are of the same Spanish level as you are. The group maximum is 5 students, but the class average is 3. Because of the small classes, the teacher can give individual support and classes are intensive. Besides the Spanish language, the Argentinean culture is an integral part of classes.

Besides the group courses it’s possible to take individual classes a day. You have the benefit of deciding the subject-matter to be discussed during this individual hour is. For example, you may choose to have your Spanish instruction emphasize Spanish use in a business environment or in another area of your choosing like medical Spanish.In addition, you can also choose to dig a little bit deeper into grammar or work on your fluency in general.

Because the individual classes are adjusted to your wishes and capacity, following this course make you learn Spanish faster. This course is recommended for anyone who wants to learn Spanish but have a limited amount of time.
Individual Spanish classes
Individual classes are fully custom made. Before the course start, your Spanish level will be determined, and with that the content of the classes and the course timetable. The course content depends on what your personal motivation is for learning Spanish. During the course, adaptations can be easily made together with your private teacher. Together with your teacher you will achieve your personal goals and learn to communicate in Spanish.

You can choose from the following accommodation:
Single room in a shared apartment
Single room and a shared bathroom. Use of kitchen and washing machine, sheets, room cleaning. All within a 30 minutes distance of the school, walking or by public transport. You share the apartment with Argentine people and maybe one or more language students. It costs U$S 120 a week (without meals).
Single room with a host family
Host families will offer you their hospitality, a cosy place and the opportunity for a true cultural exchange during your stay in Buenos Aires. All families are located in the best neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires. We believe this one of the best ways to get to know Argentine culture. Having their own room and keys, Students will enjoy this home-style experience yet still have the comforts of independence. Host family accommodations are within a 30 minutes distance of the school, walking or by public transport. It costs U$S 120 a week (without meals). You can arrange to have meals with the family (Breakfast U$S 2.50 a day and dinner U$S 7 a day).
Double room in a shared apartment or in a family accommodation
Reservations for double rooms can only be made for students travelling together. The double room costs U$S 90 each person a week.

Social and cultural activities:
Directly experiencing another culture and making contact with the people are essential for a true understanding of the language. Consequently, our cultural and leisure program is an important component of our course program, complementing classroom activities through personal experience of the Spanish-speaking environment.

Social and Cultural activities are optional and include, for example, visits to the different neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires, like the aristocratic areas: Puerto Madero; Recoleta; San Martín Square area and the Tango and popular culture areas La Boca and San Telmo.All these visits are made in groups joined and guided by a teacher and are very helpful to practice Spanish.

They are included in the price of the courses. Students only pay admission charges or tickets. The school can also provide advice and information on a number of activities and interests (sports, tango, salsa, etc).
