Terms and conditions

CANCELLATION POLICIES:

To cancel your booking of a Spanish course you must send us an email, fax or personal notice at the school secretary as soon as possible.
Refunds
- If you cancel over 60 days before the first day that your course starts you will receive 90% refund of your deposit.
- If you cancel between 59 & 16 days before the first day that your course starts you will receive 50% refund of your deposit.
- If you cancel between 15 & 0 days before the first day your course starts, and during your program: no refunds given. You can cancell your services and you can take the remaining services in a different date, without expiration date. This way you always can take the whole program. We request a prior notice of two weeks in advance.
- All refunds have an administrative charge of 15% on the amount refunded.
Cancellations are valid only when they are made by email to the following address:info@patagoniaschool.com, or by letter, fax or by personal notice at the school secretary. In each case, cancellation fees and administrative charges are applicable. Patagonia School will not review its cancellation policies in any situation.
How do we refund?
We will use the same method you used to pay for your course.
In you void the registration fee, it won’t be refunded, under any circumstances.
Absence of the student, getting late to class or leaving earlier, don’t imply any kind of discount or class recovery.
 

  • Days and hours of the courses are arranged prior to the beginning of these, thus they cannot be modified, except for the one-on-one private classes.
  • The courses with price promotions don’t have a student number limit. Normal courses have a maximum of 4 students per class.
  • Classes are given in Spanish, with Basic English in the beginner levels.
  • All courses must be paid in full, first day of class. If not, you cannot enter the classroom.
  • In the One-on-one classes, we work strictly on what the students decides, and material and literature according to their needs is sought.
  • In group and private classes we work with a book and different study materials, according to the student’s level.
  • Private courses are organized into levels, same as group classes, thus not envolving the study of subjects not corresponding to the student´s level.
  • If a student hires a group course, and there is no other students of the same level to go with, the student will get one less hour of the hired course in private classes, and even if the cost of these latter is bigger, there will be no extra charge.
  • This school remains closed exclusively on international holidays. Missing classes are recovered that same week, one extra hour per day. In the case the student doesn´t want to take this extra hour, there will be no refund or discount for the missing class.

Homestay:

The minimum time for staying is one week (7 nights). If you will be staying less time, you must pay for the full week. Starting from the second week, you must pay for the full week or day by day, depending on the arrengement. The room must be free at 10:00 AM, for the family may need it. In the case of staying in the room alter this time, you must pay an extra day of accommodation. All modifications in the accommodation times and payment will be arranged at the school’s secretary.
